INTRODUCTION Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) offers annual English-taught winter and summer programs for international students and scholars. Leveraging Beijing’s unique position as China’s capital, this program blends Chinese language learning with immersive cultural experiences, uniting the city’s rich history and vibrant modernity. Each year, over 500 participants from more than 30 countries join to gain global perspectives and hands-on experience. In Summer 2026, BIT will launch an online program focused on Chinese language and cultural learning in Zhuhai campus. Designed to be interactive and practical, it welcomes learners worldwide. 【2026 BIT (ZHUHAI) Chinese Language and Multicultural Practice (Online)】 This online summer session program is a specially designed immersive Chinese learning experience for international learners, integrating practical language acquisition with in-depth multicultural exploration. Tailored for elementary to intermediate Chinese learners, the program breaks the limits of location with flexible online teaching modes, leading you to master daily Chinese communication skills while unlocking the charm of Chinese culture from multiple dimensions.The program not only helps you improve your Chinese language skills, but also cultivates your cross-cultural communication competence and global vision. Through interactive workshops and field trips, students will experience the unique charm of Lingnan culture and gain a deeper understanding of the multicultural landscape of Zhuhai.
Program Details u Modules: ² Communicative Chinese; ²Traditional Chinese Cultural Essence (Festivals, Etiquette & Folk Customs); ² Lingnan Culture of Guangdong (Local Customs, Cuisine & Intangible Heritage) Chinese Traditional Art Experience (Calligraphy, Paper-cutting & Knotting) ² Cutlural Sharing u Online Platform: Classin APP/Zoom u Duration: July 8– July 22, 2026 u Capacity Size: 15 (minimum) u Credits: 2 credits (The credits of this program will be recognized by BIT Zhuhai Chinese Language Program) u Fee: CNY 500/Person
NOTE: 1. Electronic-version certificate only contains credits, no academic transcript provided. 2. Once the tuition fee is paid, it is non-refundable. 3. The program is conducted in English. 4. If the number of students enrolled in a program is less than 15, the program will be canceled. 5. If you are successfully admitted, we will send official Admission Letter as final confirmation. The Program Handbook will be sent one week ahead of the program starts, and the specific details shall be subject to the email.

Application Procedure Ø Register at http://applyisc.bitzh.edu.cn Ø Create your account and log in Ø Choose “Short-term Programs (online courses)” Ø Click “Apply” Ø Choose “2026 BIT (ZHUHAI) Chinese Language and Multicultural Practice (Online)” Ø Fill your personal information and upload the required documents. Ø Click “Submit”, then confirm by clicking “OK” to complete your application
