INTRODUCTION
In recent years, Beijing Institute of Technology has successfully held on-campus and online programs in winter and summer seasons, attracting more than 500 students annually. For the summer of 2026, we will hold summer programs at both the Beijing and Zhuhai campuses of BIT, it is set to offer an array of on-campus and online summer programs tailored to your interests in the field of engineering, AI, management, Chinese language and culture. BIT provides lectures and laboratory works in cutting-edge areas such as the Artificial Intelligence of Things, Wireless Communications & Microwave, Smart Vehicles, along with Chinese language and culture practices. 【2026 BIT (BEIJING) Smart Chinese: AI-Empowered International Chinese Learning and Cross-Cultural Communication】 Open to anyone interested in learning Mandarin and exploring the Chinese way of life. You will study alongside peers from various cultural and academic backgrounds and gain firsthand experience of Chinese culture. Topics：Spoken Chinese, Cultural Sharing, Communicative Chinese, Chinese Cuisine, Chinese Calligraphy, Culture Tours Capacity Size: 20 (min) - 160 (max) 【sample】BIT (BEIJING) Smart Chinese AI-Empowered International Chinese Learning and Cross-Cultural Communication NOTE: There are official enrollment spots available for these programs, and we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are successfully admitted, we will send official Admission Letter to be as the confirmation. The Program Handbook will be sent between 25 June and 1 July, and the specific details shall be subject to the email.

Tips: 1. The fee covers tuition, on-campus accommodation, teaching materials, insurance, company visits and cultural tours. 2. The fee doesn’t include meals, airport transfers, or other personal expenses. 3. Once the tuition fee is paid, it is non-refundable.
NOTE: 1. Printed version certificate only containing credits, no academic transcript provided. 2. All the programs will be conducted in English. 3. If the number of students enrolled in a program is less than 20, the program will be canceled. 4. Enrollment for the on-campus program is limited. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Founded in 2001, it is a “Double First-Class” special development zone crafted by Beijing Institute of Technology in line with the educational standards of “high starting point, high level and prominent characteristics” in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with great vitality and international competitiveness. 3.【2026 BIT (ZHUHAI) Intelligent Robotics Engineering】 The program mainly covers cutting-edge fields such as multimodal recognition technology for intelligent robots, the development of quadrupedal wheeled robotic dogs, and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs). Aligned with the latest trends in intelligent manufacturing, it provides students with opportunities for multi-physics simulation and specialized thematic lectures. The program will arrange visits to relevant laboratories and practice education bases in BIT Zhuhai, enabling international students to gain a deeper understanding of the development of China’s intelligent robotics technology. 4.【2026 BIT (ZHUHAI) Smart Vehicle and Technology】 This program explores the deep integration of sustainable energy and next-generation transportation systems. It covers cutting-edge fields such as advanced battery systems, carbon neutrality technologies, and innovative nanocomposite materials. Aligned with trends like the “low-altitude economy” and “Vehicle-Energy-Road-Cloud” integration, the program offers students insights into AI-driven energy management and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) propulsion technologies. Students will have the opportunity to visit high-level research platforms, such as the Advanced Battery System Lab, and leading enterprises in the Greater Bay Area to understand the practical application of green energy in the smart mobility industry.
