INTRODUCTION

      Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai, being as the Zhuhai Campus of BIT, is a crucial strategic component of Beijing Institute of Technology. Founded in 2001, it is a “Double First-Class” special development zone crafted by Beijing Institute of Technology in line with the educational standards of “high starting point, high level and prominent characteristics” in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with great vitality and international competitiveness. It covers an area of approximately 824 acres, adjacent to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and directly linked to Hong Kong and Macao. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Zhuhai South Integrated Circuits Design Service Center and the well-known Chinese technological enterprises and understand the application of artificial intelligence technology in actual industry and product development.

This program is a intensive, immersive initiative designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to excel in international contexts. It aims to enhance participants’ international perspectives and leadership skills through a series of meticulously planned activities and visits to the well-known Chinese enterprises. It focuses on bridging theoretical frameworks with practical problem-solving, enabling participants to navigate cultural differences, lead diverse teams, and make strategic decisions. Students in this program will also experience the Chinese language and Chinese culture activities.

3.2026 BIT (ZHUHAI) Intelligent Robotics Engineering

The program mainly covers cutting-edge fields such as multimodal recognition technology for intelligent robots, the development of quadrupedal wheeled robotic dogs, and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs). Aligned with the latest trends in intelligent manufacturing, it provides students with opportunities for multi-physics simulation and specialized thematic lectures. The program will arrange visits to relevant laboratories and practice education bases in BIT Zhuhai, enabling international students to gain a deeper understanding of the development of China’s intelligent robotics technology.

4.2026 BIT (ZHUHAI) Smart Vehicle and Technology

This program explores the deep integration of sustainable energy and next-generation transportation systems. It covers cutting-edge fields such as advanced battery systems, carbon neutrality technologies, and innovative nanocomposite materials. Aligned with trends like the “low-altitude economy” and “Vehicle-Energy-Road-Cloud” integration, the program offers students insights into AI-driven energy management and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) propulsion technologies. Students will have the opportunity to visit high-level research platforms, such as the Advanced Battery System Lab, and leading enterprises in the Greater Bay Area to understand the practical application of green energy in the smart mobility industry.

INTRODUCTION

Yangtze Delta Region Academy of Beijing Institute of Technology, (Jiaxing) is a new-type high-end scientific research institution co-founded by Beijing Institute of Technology and the People’s Government of Jiaxing City. Located in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, it lies in the core hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, connecting Shanghai and Hangzhou, and linking Jiangsu and Ningbo, with unique geographical advantages. The Campus has a total planned land area of 1,000 mu. The first phase, covering 500 mu with a construction area of 300,000 square meters, was fully completed and put into use in November 2025.

2026 BIT (JIAXING) Rice Fragrance in Jiangnan Water Towns: Rural Revitalization in the Digital Wave


This program focuses on the frontiers of humanities and social sciences. Set against the authentic landscape of Jiangnan water towns in China, with traditional Chinese family culture as its core and modern technologies in rural revitalization as its highlight, it deeply explores the path of rural revitalization represented by Wuzhen and Yucun.

Integrating the profound heritage of traditional Chinese culture, the program explains its historical role and modern value in rural development. It also introduces modern technological tools applied in rural revitalization and analyzes their practical effects in promoting rural progress in economy, culture, ecology and other fields.

By comparing tradition and modernity, theory and practice, this program aims to reveal the internal logic and Chinese approach to rural revitalization in Jiangnan water towns, and demonstrate the unique charm and broad prospects of the socialist path of rural revitalization with Chinese characteristics.It is not only a vivid display of rural development achievements rooted in Chinese culture, but also a successful model for in-depth exploration of innovative practices in rural revitalization.
