The program, with chemistry as its main subject, prepares students with the theory and professional knowledge in inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry and physical chemistry together with scientific thinking method and the ability to deal with science and technology problems.

Graduates mainly engage in scientific research, high technology development institutions, teaching and management in the field of chemistry and related areas.

The core courses include Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Modern Instrumental Analysis, Structural Chemistry, Fundamentals of Chemical Engineering, Preparation and Characterization of Functionalized Materials, Coordination Chemistry (bilingual), Bioanalytical Chemistry, Advanced Organic Chemistry, and Photoelectric Chemistry.

专业简介：本专业将全面系统地介绍化学基础理论知识和化学实验基本操作技能。在此基础上，进一步细化专业方向（无机化学、有机化学、分析化学、物理化学等），同时介绍该专业方向的最新知识及学科前沿的发展状况，使学生具有从事科学技术研究的综合能力，能适应社会对化学高级专门人才的各种需求。

毕业去向：多数毕业生可通过推荐免试或者考试形式继续攻读硕士学位或博士学位；也可在科研部门、高等院校、高科技部门从事科研和教学工作；在化工、环保、食品、药品、冶金等部门从事科技研发等工作；在国家机关、海关、商检、公检法、金融、税务等部门从事管理和技术工作。

核心课程：无机化学、有机化学、分析化学、物理化学、近代仪器分析、结构化学、化工原理、功能材料的制备性能与表征、生物化学、高分子化学与物理等专业课程；高端课程主要涉及专业选修课程(Az)，如有机波谱分析、配位化学（双语）、固体化学、中级无机化学、现代分离技术、表面与胶体化学、高等有机化学、有机合成单元反应、生命分析化学、统计热力学、光电化学、电子显微学等。
