精彩五洲，炫动北理——记北理工第59届运动会国际学子掠影
最美人间四月天，不负春光与时行。2022年4月23日，北京理工大学第59届运动会在良乡校区拉开帷幕。运动会中，我校国际学生齐心协力、朝气蓬勃，“友谊万岁”、“拼搏奋斗”的运动精神得以充分展现。
On April 23, 2022, the 59th BIT Sports Meeting was held at Liangxiang Campus. Our international students worked together with vigor and enthusiasm during the Games, and the sports spirit of friendship and struggle was fully demonstrated.
开幕式上，各运动员方阵昂首阔步，气宇轩昂。其中，由来自五大洲六十余个国家的国际学生组成的留学生中心令闻书院方阵独具特色，他们或身着民族盛装，或身着“留学北理”文化T恤，步伐稳健、热情洋溢地来到主席台前。青春动感的舞蹈、灵动活泼的熊猫赢得阵阵欢呼。“精彩五洲，炫动北理”，嘹亮的口号饱含着国际学子对中国、对北理的深情与热爱。
At the opening ceremony, the squads strutted with confidence and vigor. Among them, the Office of International Students, comprising the international students from more than 60 countries on five continents, was unique in that they were dressed in national costumes or "Study in BIT" cultural T-shirts and came to the podium with a steady and enthusiastic pace. The youthful and dynamic dance and the lively panda won cheers. The loud and clear slogan "精彩五洲，炫动北理" was full of the international students' deep love and affection for China and BIT.
本次运动会中，在校国际学生踊跃报名、认真训练、顽强拼搏，在田赛、径赛以及趣味运动海底捞月、六人七足、拔河等多项比赛中都留下了精彩的瞬间，取得了优异的成绩。绿色竞技场上，同学们挥洒汗水、助威呐喊，处处彰显着留学北理包容、团结、奋进的风采。
In the Games, the international students enrolled actively, trained, and strived hard, leaving wonderful moments and achieving excellent results in many competitions such as field and track events, as well as fun sports such as the heats of Haidilaoyue, a six-person seven-foot race, and the tug of war. On the green arena, students sweated and cheered, showing the inclusive, united, and progressive style of studying in BIT.
此外，运动健儿们的出色表现也离不开留学生中心各位老师和志愿者们井然有序的后勤保障工作。大家坚守岗位，为比赛的顺利进行辛勤付出。
In addition, the athletes' outstanding performance could not be accomplished without the intuitive and methodical logistics work of the teachers and volunteers of the Office of International Students. They fought tooth and nail to strategize the smooth running of the competition.
一场“校长杯足球友谊赛”为北理工第59届运动会画上了圆满的句号，展现了中外学生友谊、竞争、协作的体育品质，更体现出学校对促进中外学生融合、营造国际化氛围的高度重视。
The "BIT President Cup Football Match" brought an efficacious conclusion to the 59th Sports Meeting of BIT, demonstrating the quality of friendship, competition, and cooperation between Chinese and international students and reflecting the university's great attention to promoting a high level of social integration of Chinese and international students and creating an international atmosphere.
两年疫情扰乱了多姿多彩的留学生活，赛场上，同学们露出了掩藏在口罩下丰富的表情。愿灿烂的笑容、拼搏的精神驱除阴霾，待疫情散去，学子重聚，再创佳绩。
The epidemic disrupted the colorful life of study abroad, and the field was filled with students showing their rich expressions hidden under their masks. May the bright smiles and hard work drive away the gloom, and when the epidemic is over, the students will be reunited for another successful year.
