Aerospace Engineering

Aerospace Engineering at BIT, ranking among the best among domestic universities, is a national program.

The program at the school of Aerospace Engineering includes a combination of classroom, laboratory, and research experience that will give you knowledge and skills that meet and exceed the demands of today's workplace. The curriculum of includes 156 credit-hours, culminating, senior year, with the completion of a capstone research project in one of four application areas: Flight Vehicle Engineering, Flight Control, Launching and Propulsion Engineering, and Mechanics. As an undergraduate, you will be challenged to work harder than ever before, but you will be strongly supported by our experienced academic staff and an AE faculty advisor who has traveled the road before you. The school offers masters and doctoral degree programs in Aerospace Engineering for students, who would like to continue their educational journeys.

A primary goal of the aerospace engineering degree programs is to provide an educational experience and training that will prepare graduates to excel within the broad scope of the aerospace engineering professions. Our graduates can attain the professional and career accomplishments during the first few years following graduation.

· Our graduates can be employed in a professional aerospace or related engineering organization;

· Be admitted to graduate programs in engineering or other professional areas;

· Become an active participant in professional society activities;

· Demonstrate the initiative, motivation and ability to grow professionally in their chosen endeavor.

The core courses include Introduction to Flight Vehicle System, Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Structural Analysis, Optimization Design Methods, Spacecraft Dynamics, Control System Analysis & Design, System Dynamics & Vibration, Flight Vehicle Guidance and Control, Introduction to Combustion Theory, Aerodynamics, Flight Vehicle Design, Autonomous Control of UAV and Jet Propulsion.
