Founded in 1940, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) stands as one of China’s national key universities. Program Introduction
Over the past five years, BIT has successfully held on-campus and online Winter and Summer programs with more than 500 international students from 30 countries each year. In the coming Winter of 2025, BIT will offer a series of winter programs in Beijing and Zhuhai campuses. It is committed to providing overseas students with a diversified platform to study at BIT, learn Chinese, explore advanced technology, and gain a deeper insight into China.

1. Winter Program in Beijing
2025 BIT (BEIJING) Chinese Language and Multicultural Practice Winter Program
Location: BIT Beijing Liangxiang Campus, Beijing, China
Duration: January 5 – January 16, 2025
Registration Date: January 5, 2025
Credits: 2 credits
Fee: CNY 3500/person including tuition, accommodation, insurance, culture tours, and cultural practices. The fee does not include food and other personal expenses.
Capacity Limit: 15 to 30 participants

2025 BIT (ZHUHAI) The Innovation Energy Winter Program
2025 BIT (ZHUHAI) Artificial Intelligence Winter Program
2025 BIT (ZHUHAI) Global Leadership Winter Program
Location: BIT Zhuhai Campus, Guangdong, China
Duration: January 5 – January 16, 2025
Registration Date: January 5, 2025
Credits: 2 credits
Fee: CNY 3000/person including tuition, accommodation, insurance, culture tours, and cultural practices. The fee does not include food and other personal expenses.

Lecture: The Innovation Energy (Mechanical Engineering) / Artificial Intelligence / Global Leadership
Chinese Language Courses
City Tour
Chinese Culture Practice
Note: If the number of participants is fewer than 15, the program will be canceled.
All the programs will be taught in English.

3.Qualification
Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport and in good health; must observe Chinese laws and regulations of Beijing Institute of Technology.
18 years old or above.
English Proficiency Level: Intermediate and above.
4.Nomination
Nomination is required from partner universities.

Visa
Students admitted to the winter programs should apply for an X2 visa (short-term visa) at their Chinese embassy/consulate using the provided admission letter.
