Founded in 2001, Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai (BIT Zhuhai) is a high-level international campus established in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area by Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). Located in the “Golden Inner Bay” and at the heart of the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Zone, the campus enjoys a prime position with convenient access to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao, offering a beautiful and inspiring environment for learning. Chinese Language Program Introduction
The Chinese Language Program is committed to building a professional and efficient learning platform for international students worldwide who aspire to learn Chinese and gain an in-depth understanding of Chinese culture. Through systematic language teaching and immersive cultural experiences, it helps students overcome language barriers, enhance their comprehensive Chinese application skills, and at the same time deepen their understanding of China's history, culture, and society. It aims to cultivate international talents with cross-cultural communication capabilities, laying a solid foundation for cultural exchange and cooperation between China and other countries.

Eligibility
üMust be non-Chinese citizen holding a valid foreign passport;
üAged 18-35;
üGraduates of senior high school (or above);
üMust be in good physical and mental health.
Application Materials (* is required)
*1. The Photocopy of the Passport (photo page, Chinese visa page if you have);
*2. ID Photo with A White Background;
*3. Highest Degree Certificate (Chinese or English Version);
*4. Highest Academic Transcript (Chinese or English Version);
*5. Personal Statement (download BIT International Student Personal Statement template from https://isc.bit.edu.cn/→Resources→Download, complete it, and upload it in the application system);
6. Applications under 18 (if you are under 18, please refer to "Application Materials for Student under 18 for Zhuhai Campus" on https://isc.bit.edu.cn/ → Resources → Download, and upload all required materials as instructed);
7. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (please undergo a physical examination at a hospital following the requirements in the Physical Examination Record for Foreigners, available in the "Download" section, and upload it in the application system);
8. Financial Guarantee Letter (The certificate of bank saving);
9. Non-criminal Record (Issued by local police station);
10. Other documents.

The minimum class size of the program is 15 students. Less than 15 students, the class will be canceled.

International Chinese Language Teachers ScholarshipProgram
Location of International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Program: BIT Beijing Campus
1) What does the scholarship cover?
Tuition, Accommodation fee of BIT Beijing Campuses, living allowance and medical insurance.
Living allowance：CNY 2,500/ month
2) Who can apply?
1. Non-Chinese citizens;
2. Should be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and BIT rules and regulations;
3. In good physical and mental health, and in good academic and behavioral standing;
4. Interested in Chinese language education and related work;
5. Aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2026. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45.
①One-year study program: The program starts from September every year and the duration of scholarship is 11 months. Applicants should have a minimum score of 270 in HSK Test (Level 3), and 60 in HSKK Test (Beginning Level).
②One-semester study program: The program starts from September or March each year and the duration of scholarship is 5 months. Applicants should have a minimum score of 180 in HSK Test (Level 3), an HSKK test score is required.
3) How to apply?
Please visit http://cis.chinese.cn/ and choose “Beijing Institute of Technology”. Fill in the application form and upload the required documents online. At the same time, it is necessary to complete the application on the system (http://apply.isc.bit.edu.cn/).
Application Period：
March 1st -May 15th (for programs commencing in September 2026)
March 1st-October 31st (for programs commencing in March 2026)
For specific deadline, please refer to the Application Information issued by Center for Language Education and Cooperation every year.
ALL scholarship applicants will study at the Beijing campus.
