The International Economics and Trade program of BIT takes economics as its main subject. This major mainly focuses on training students with basic methods of analyzing economy, law, culture and technology in the international business environment and with knowledge of modern science and technology and management methods such as computer applications. It highly emphasizes students’ solid theoretical foundations, innovative thinking, practical ability, foreign language skills, international vision, intercultural communication skills, work skills in foreign economic and trade field, and analysis and problem-solving abilities in international trade and cooperation with the background of globalization.

Graduated are expected to be able to carry out international business and other relevant management tasks in state organizations and enterprises.
